1973 thru 1974
Founded Krohm International as a
consulting and software development firm, specializing
in electronic publishing applications. KI received its first
contract from the Messenger Corporation
(Phoenix, Arizona) to develop galley,
book and financial pagination packages to utilize
General Automation's 18/30 to drive the Autologic
APS/4 (then known as Photon 7000) and an
attached Microfilm Recording Unit. The completed
system was then used in the start-up of Exchange
Graphics and Access Composition
Services, new subsidiaries of Messenger Corporation.
