1990 This was the year we released the C-based KI/Composer Version 5.0 on Sun Microsystem's SunOS, IBM RISC/6000 AIX and Microsoft's DOS computer platforms. ADT Enterprises (Grandview, Missouri) was upgraded to the DOS version with Autologic Micro/5 drivers for bar-code production. The Autologic ICL output driver was also used as a model to help create our new Printware 1440 Platesetter output driver, which permits direct-to-plate at maximum throughput rate. IBM's Display PostScript and Sun's NeWS windowing system (PostScript-compatible) were utilized for previewing, and they both supported color graphics.
